The only feasible way of achieving this and more is to embrace youth entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is be a powerful tool to help fight youth unemployment. G-CITI continue to foster an entrepreneurial spirit; we believe it’s vital to develop entrepreneurs whose success will create opportunity for economic participation for more South Africans. Any society with massive youth involvement in entrepreneurship benefits, because, there is employment generation, product innovation, revenue generation, and community rejuvenation.
Therefore G-CITI has embarked on delivering digital services for youth entrepreneurs and empowering entrepreneurs with digital skills and with design thinking skills for the future.

We offer Entrepreneurship Education is part of our empowerment program to educate youth entrepreneurs about the world of business through Accredited Programmes.
Design Thinking & Social Innovation
To advance creativity and innovation for youth in business, we have created a Maker Space Environment and Design Thinking Programmes to practically unlock new ideas against the social and economic challenges we face in society.
Digital Entrepreneurship
As technology is evolving, the need for technology integration into business has become crucial. Therefore we educate youth the pivotal role of technology usage in business.
Business Support Services
We offer both business and digital services to entrepreneurs. From ranging from drafting an invoice in excel to upload compliance documents to CSD Portal, we support them based on our expertise.

Maker Space for Youth Entrepreneurship
Maker Spaces has always been around with a traditional approach. From the science lab to a small factory layout, we
all have been introduced to maker spaces with a specific facility purpose. Maker Spaces promoted discover learning
and independence, resulting in learners or youth finding answers to complex problems. The potential of a Maker Space within the I-CAN Centre, Elsies
River will spark the innate curiosity of youth and encourage experimentation, teamwork, and preparing them for the
future within the workforce. The Maker Space will create a new style of education for youth at the I-CAN Centre,
where they will develop experiential practical skills to serve as entrepreneurs. The Maker Space will also supplement
a range of vocational technology training programs offered at the I-CAN Centre.
